Eleftheria (Rita) S. Daskalaki is the founder of Rita Daskalaki Law Firm, which was established in Chania, Crete, in 1997. She is a member of the Chania Bar Association and is admitted to practise before the Supreme Court of Greece.
Her legal practice covers a broad range of Greek civil law matters, with particular emphasis on property law, family law and inheritance law.
She has extensive experience in real estate purchases and sales, representing both Greek and international clients throughout every stage of a property transaction. Her services include legal due diligence, title searches, the review and drafting of contracts, representation before notaries, Land Registry and Cadastre matters, and the legal completion of property transfers.
She also advises third-country nationals on investor residence permits, including the Greek Golden Visa programme. Her assistance covers the legal assessment of the proposed investment, the acquisition of the property and the preparation and submission of the residence permit application.
In the fields of family and inheritance law, she provides legal advice and representation in matters involving divorce, family disputes, wills, intestate succession, acceptance and renunciation of inheritance, estate administration and the transfer of inherited property in Greece.
Throughout her career, she has handled more than 1,500 contracts and deeds concerning land, houses, apartments, hotels, businesses and other investment projects.
Her professional approach is based on careful legal analysis, direct personal communication and the effective coordination of all professionals involved in each case, including notaries, engineers, accountants and other specialised advisers. Through an established network of associates, she represents clients in Crete and throughout Greece.
She holds postgraduate qualifications in Law of the Economy and Enterprises and in Criminal Law. She is also an accredited mediator, a GDPR specialist and a certified Data Protection Officer.
She speaks Greek, English and French.
